Flexible Membrane Foil Keyboards made by InduKey®
The membrane foil keyboard is manufactured as a glued foil-layersystem. Silver-paste printed polyester foils are normally used as switch membranes. A distance foil separates the lower and the upper switch membrane layer. The contact will be made by pressure on the upper design foil in the key area. On top of the upper switch membrane layer the design foil is situated. The highly transparent design foil do have a fine structure or smooth surface. This foil can be printed with many colors and/or information. Sensible edge or key embossing as well as inlaying metal domes ensure an excellent tactile feeling and lead the finger to the right position.

The numerous design possibilities of these keyboards by key positions, key dimensions and colors increase the attractiveness of your device. To increase the key position recognition by feeling, we can add a special relief technology onto the foil surface. Embossing can be made as surface embossing, as frame embossing or as dome embossing. These embossings improve the tactility of any keystroke. |
